EP DESK, BOLENG 7 DEC: Hon’ble Minister Ojing Tasing has issued a formal clarification regarding a recent video clip that went viral on social media in the context of the 02-Roing ZPM Panchayat election. The minister stated that his remarks in the video were being misinterpreted and were never intended to hurt the sentiments of the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
According to Minister Tasing, the speech was delivered in a private BJP party gathering meant exclusively for party karyakartas. He explained that his statement indicating that prosperity and development flow where the BJP-led government wins was a message directed internally to party workers, not a public declaration during any rally or open event.
He emphasised that the video, once circulated publicly, conveyed a meaning different from what was intended in the original private context.
Reiterating his commitment, Minister Tasing said he is an ardent follower of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a dedicated worker under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu. He assured that he will continue to work for the development and welfare of the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
“If the viral clip has unknowingly hurt the sentiment of anyone, I sincerely apologise for it,” he further added.
