At what time of year are GTA 3, VICE CITY, SAN ANDREAS, LCS, and VCS set ?

Something I've always wondered about in GTA is: at what time of year is each game set?

Even though time progresses over the course of an in-game day, it's not like months and years pass, and the seasons never change.

I have no idea whether we can come up with a concrete answer, but join me as we attempt to figure out when the 3D era GTA games were set.
