New Zero Team is a classic style beat 'em up developed by Seibu, who was mainly known for the Raiden series. I never knew this game existed until a few days ago, which is surprising since it's really good. I'm not sure why it isn't more well known. Maybe because it was never ported to consoles?

There are multiple different versions of this game. I'm not sure what the exact differences are between all of them. The original Zero Team was released in 1993, then New Zero Team was released in 1997. In this one, the stage order is a little different. Stages 1 and 3, and stages 2 and 4 were swapped. I'm not sure why, maybe they felt this way is more balanced or has a nicer flow. Finally, there's Zero Team 2000. I don't know what's different about that one, but watching a video makes it look like it has the original stage order.
