Discover the Beauty of Montreal Botanical Garden - Part 1 | Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Arboretum & More!
Welcome to my latest video showcasing the mesmerizing Montreal Botanical Garden. In this part 1 of 2 video series, we cover the popular Chinese garden, Japanese garden, bonsai garden, Arboretum, and the Leslie Hancock Garden for you to explore and marvel at. This video is footage from the Montreal Botanical Garden mixed with music. I happened to be in Montreal with my friend Laura and we decided we would spend the day checking out the Botanical Garden. I made this video using only my iPhone 13 Pro Max and I didn't have a gimbal with me, so I apologize if any of the footage seems unstable.
The Montreal Botanical Garden is one of the largest botanical gardens in the world, with over 22,000 plant species and cultivars, spread out over 190 acres. It was established in 1931 and is a designated National Historic Site of Canada.
In this video, you will see the stunning Chinese garden adorned with beautiful red, yellow, and orange flowers, a symbol of traditional Chinese culture and a perfect example of the harmony between the garden and architecture. The Japanese garden, on the other hand, is designed to evoke a feeling of serenity and peace with its winding paths, pond, and trees.
I also take you through the bonsai garden, where you can witness the art of shaping small trees to create beautiful miniatures that you can explore up close.
The Arboretum, with its vast collection of trees native to North America and Europe, is a quiet spot with a stunning collection of trees which we looped through. It's an expansive area, I don't think we had a chance to see all of it, but it was vast!
Lastly, we went through the Leslie Hancock Garden. This unique garden is home to a variety of colourful flowers, and collections of Ericaceae which are cultivated to provide an idea of how gardens can be grown in any backyard.
Don't forget to watch Part 2 of the series (to be posted a few days after Part 1), like and subscribe to the channel.
