COZUMEL - Coconuts Bar & Tankless Diving at Skyreef Beach Club | Voyager of the Seas Port Day

Join us for a fun self-guided excursion driving around Cozumel! First stop - Coconuts! Followed by some tankless diving using the ‪@diveblu3‬ Nomads at Skyreef!

This week's adventure finds us in Cozumel, Mexico for a port day on our 5 day Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Voyager of the Seas out of Galveston, Texas.

After a trial dive in Mahahual/Costa Maya, we were ready to get out in the deeper waters of Cozumel. But first, we picked up our car after docking and disembarking from the Voyager of the Seas. We made our way across the island to the windward side of the island to kick the day off with some drinks & chips/salsa at Coconuts Bar - a quirky/eccentric bar full of character, atop the highest point of the island with the best beach views.

After a perfect way to kick off the day, we made our way down the coast stopping at El Mirador to see the blowhole. We then continued on to Skyreef Beach Club to get into the water!

We were fortunate to borrow two Blu3 Nomad dive systems - a perfectly portable tankless dive system that allows for diving up to 30 feet. This proved to be perfect for our experience at Skyreef - just a couple hundred feet from shore, coral reefs line the coast - home to dozens of beautiful species of fish and corral. An amazing experience, and incredible dive!

After working up an appetite, we ordered ourselves some chips and guacamole and some drinks to wash it all down before heading back to drop off the car and board the ship!
