The Kansas City Chiefs were one of the most fun teams to use in the original Tecmo Super Bowl, and even though Joe Montana’s name never appeared in the game and he was simply listed as QB Chiefs, his elite ratings still made him one of the best quarterbacks in Tecmo and a constant threat to lead the league in passing. The offense is loaded with Marcus Allen providing power and versatility in the backfield, JJ Birden bringing game-breaking speed on the outside, and Willie Davis giving the team another reliable target to keep defenses honest. On the other side of the ball, the Chiefs are just as dangerous with Neil Smith dominating up front, Derrick Thomas wreaking havoc as one of the most feared linebackers in the game, and Dale Carter’s elite coverage and ball-hawking ability giving this defense huge turnover potential, making this one of the most complete and exciting teams to run a full season with. #TecmoSuperBowl #SNES #Chiefs #RetroGaming
