Senator Walks Out After Tough Questions

Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) walked out of a town hall on Saturday after struggling to address questions from constituents about DOGE's job cuts of federal workers, including veterans.

The room was packed beyond capacity as citizens demanded answers from Marshall on topics like Ukraine, rural healthcare, and the DOGE firings. The event ended an hour early after someone highlighted how many of the fired workers were veterans, sparking boos and cries of 'You're not done!' and 'We're gonna vote you out!'

Marshall's failed town hall is just the latest instance of citizens showing up to demand answers, action, and accountability from their representatives at public events nationwide.
