Elden Ring RL1 - Commander Gaius (Melee only)

First remembrance boss I've fought/beaten in the DLC at RL1 (didn't think Ancient Dragon Man, Jori, or Golden Hippo deserved videos).

Took about 45 minutes from first attempt to success. I'd love to not have to rely on Bloodhound's Step for anything, but since I'm playing this on console, the frames love to fluctuate between 30-60fps randomly which I swear makes the timing of some attacks janky.

As for the fight itself, the charge is indeed dumb but BHS makes it a non-issue. The only attacks I struggled with after properly learning his moveset were his long combo where you have to dodge like 5 times, and the boar head smash which comes out pretty quick so it was hard for me to react in time. Otherwise, not as bad as I was expecting (being at Scadutree Blessing level 17 already helped a ton too, of course).

I've already finished the Scadutree Avatar fight as well which I'll upload after this. I'll probably do some combination of Putrescent Knight/Metyr/Midra next, then Messmer/Romina/Rellana, then Lion/Bayle/Radahn. I tried Rellana for a little bit but her arena lags on console a fair amount which is hella annoying.
