You can change font size and color, background color, modify layout, add new pages, set photo as background. Live data is displayed as charts, numbers, gauges - fully customizable colors and font size.

You should connect to your car at least once - to gather available sensors - before using DEMO mode at home.

How to modify Dashboard:
double click on any sensor on the Dashboard (to edit this field)
Dashboard page: click Settings (cogweel) in upper right corner (edit whole page)
general Settings/Dashboard - "Car Scanner theme" is best, you can modify general settings, add background picture

Parameters displayed on screen are archived - each trip separately - in Settings/Data recording. Always press Disconnect before closing the app (else trip data will be lost)! What is recorded?

most electric vehicle profiles (EV) include pre-loaded Dashboard (over 10 pages)
when selecting another profile in Settings/Connection profile, dashboard from new profile is not loaded automatically (Dashboard is not tied, does not "follow"). You need to manually update dashboard: Settings /Dashboard - Reset Dashboard to default (your customised dashboard will be erased, save it before updating)

How to export custom Dashboard to another phone:
Settings / Dashboard - Save Dashboard (.json file), send file via Bluetooth
on another phone:
Settings / Dashboard - Restore dashboard (from .json file)

Car Scanner app works even in horisontal view. In "Settings - Dashboard" there are two ways of rearranging page to horisontal view: "Reorder dashboard elements when rotating the screen".

EV - electric cars:
many EV profiles in Car Scanner have pre-loaded dashboards (10-20 pages). BUT pre-loaded dashboard is not stricly tied to change of profile! Basic change of connection profile does not bring new Dashboard from new profile. You need to do it the correct way: create new car in menu My cars: add +new car (give any name), open it, then as connection profile select EV profile (for example Hyundai Ioniq 5/EV6 or VW MEB). Other method: select Dashboard - Reset to default.

Later as connection profile you can select your own car brand and model. Empty dashboard fields should be manually filled with sensors from your car profile.

Download my custom dashboards:
Each Dashboard file works best with identical vehicle profile (Settings - Connection profile). Dashboard created in other profile will show empty fields after import, but at least you get nice pages, with colors and all other graphical elements, you can easily adapt these empty fields to your car - double click and manually add sensors from your car profile.

How to import Dashboard:
Settings - Dashboard - restore Dashboard. This file will overwrite your existing dashboard, so make a backup (Save Dashboard) or create new blank car profile (Settings - My cars). Some fields might be empty, modify them manually.

Entire user content of Car Scanner app can be moved to another phone: Settings/Backup, create CBZ file (optionally with all saved trip records, much larger file). Such file moves everything to another phone: dashboard layout settings, car settings, trip records (optional). It will re-create everything on a new phone. Alternatively you can export only the Dashboard file.
