Dr. Scott Miller visits a rescue charity, 'All Dogs Matter', after hearing the arrival of 12 dogs from Korea that have been kept in the worst environment imaginable, a meat farm. He gets them ready for examination to find these dogs a loving home. An abandoned stray Staffie gets a health check, and they discover lumps on her breast, a sign of excessive breeding and in need of surgery. A little pug is having trouble breathing and needs an urgent operation. A Pomeranian saved from a local pound is in shocking conditions with fur in patches and shivering limbs. A rescued Podenco suffered from an untreated broken leg.
A Border Collie, who has been locked up in a cage for all his life, struggles to walk. Another Collie is suffering from a hip impairment and may be facing major surgery. A little puppy is badly malnourished with no control over her body movements.

Vet on the Hill is a fascinating and often emotional insight into the highs and lows of our busy UK veterinary clinics.
We follow Dr Scott Miller, a charismatic Australian Vet treating beloved pets at his Richmond Practice. From cats and dogs and more unusual pets coming into his surgery to seeing much bigger and wilder animals outside the clinic, no two days are the same.
Vet On The Hill also features South African vet Michael Lazaris, now working in London, Yorkshire vet Louisa Graham and Michael Hamilton and Pete Smith working out of a lively Buckinghamshire based practice.
