Great Jaggi highly resembles the common herrerasaurus. It's distinctive feature is it's frill and the lavender scales with the crimson and tangerine overrides on the frills and the abdomen part and also the furs than grows along the back until the middle tip of the tail. Great Jaggia's muzzle are particularly thinner and much more wrinkly than the other Bird Wyverns. While the tail has some barbs on each sides, they are notably blunt and definable even used for it's tail whip attacks.

Great Wroggi is a species of Raptorial Bird Wyvern that is often seen inhabiting the Flooded Forest and Volcano. It is closely related to the Great Jaggi and Great Baggi. The most prominent feature of a Great Wroggi is its delicate, translucent sac-like organ around the neck. Because of its translucence, poison can be seen in the sac before it spews out as a toxic mist. The Great Wroggi has a slick salamander-like skin similar to the Iodrome, and, like its close relatives the Great Jaggi and Great Baggi, Great Wroggi are usually accompanied by a group of their smaller kin - in this case, Wroggi.

Great Baggi is a Raptorial Bird Wyvern of the Tundra in Monster Hunter 3. Its moveset is generally similar to the Great Jaggi, although the Great Baggi is tougher overall. Its eyes will glow yellow in the dark. Unlike the Jaggi, it is not sexually dimorphic and can be either the Alpha Male or Alpha Female of a pack. Great Baggi is also slightly larger than the Great Jaggi. It has developed its own unique ability; it can spit a tranquilizing liquid that inflicts sleep on its prey or hunters. Smaller Baggi are also able to spit a weaker form of this liquid. Located on its head is a crest that can be obtained in a way similar to Great Jaggi's frill. Great Baggi and Great Jaggi are often seen to be hostile towards other boss monsters; when in the same area they will occasionally cease fighting the hunter to attack other monsters. Great Baggi will retreat to Area 7 of the Tundra and eat from the bone pile when low on Stamina. It will appear in all areas of the map except for Areas 5 and 6.
