US Army Airborne 1942-1945 WW2, Gear & Weapons - ARMA 3

US Army Airborne Parachute Infantry Gear & Weapons during the World War II from 1942-1945 as represented in ARMA 3, a military simulation game. This video talks about the various types of uniforms and equipment used during that time period, which saw the use of the M1 Garand Rifle, M1942 Airborne Uniform, M1A1 Thompson, and other hardware. Typical units represented include the 101st and 82nd Airborne during D-Day, Operation Overlord in Normandy France.

Standard Rifle during this time was the M1 Garand, with additional supporting weapons being the M1A1 Carbine, M1A1 Thompson, M1919A4 Machine Gun, and M9 Bazooka. Airborne uniforms such as the Model 1942 and M1943 Combat Uniform are shown, along with the M1923 Cartridge Belt, M1936 Pistol Belt, M1936 Musette Bag, Canvas, and the T5 Parachute.

Items are presented as accurate as possible using the limitations of the ARMA 3 game engine. The Utah Beach map is used representing the European campaign of the 82nd and 101st Airborne.
