Finished my hypertrophy phase. Started in November 2019, and did 5 hypertrophy blocks with 2 mini-cuts. Went from 69kg to 80kg. Was hoping to gain more muscle and strength, but oh well did what I could. Going to focus exclusively on strength now, and likely do my last powerlifting meet in 2021.
My DL form is wack. Decided to use straps from now on but it puts me in a weird position where I can't seem to pull my shoulders back well. Tried to compensate here but just ended up going into hyperextension and making it worse lol.
First hypertrophy cycle was SQ 87.5kg x 9, BP 57.5 x 7, DL 110 x 7 and Pull up 71kg x 7. So while slow as always, made progress and that's good enough. Excited to finally work on strength and reap the benefits of the past few months.
