Season 6 Episode 65 6/25/1987
I posted this for my friend Konnie Kay Sherry to whom Dave was clearly smitten. It’s a poor transfer from VHS to digital, but it is all that has survived.
Konnie is a great wife and mother, and is every bit as sweet as she appeared to be in the video. She is an Equity member and still performs as a dancer and/or singer when opportunities arise. She teaches community college dance classes, and directs and choreographs musical productions.
A couple items of interest regarding the video…..
At the time, Konnie was married and lived in the Los Angeles area. She first met magician Martin Preston when she was flown to New York for this performance.
The page, Leigh, was initially set to perform the “leg” role in the saw trick. She balked at that, and was granted the “top” role. I’m sure she regretted that choice when she saw the performance. Oops!
