I drove 4000km from Newcastle to Perth in an epic cross-country road trip across Australia. Not only was I travelling to pick up our dream car, but I was also racing against the clock to make it back home in time for a life-changing event.
This adventure takes you through some of the most iconic stretches of the Australian outback, from long, empty highways to the famous SA/WA border crossing. With limited time and thousands of kilometres ahead of me, the pressure was on — could I make it back in time?
Along the way, I share what it’s really like to travel across Australia solo, the challenges of long-distance driving, and of course, the big reveal of our new dream car AND the life changing event that I'm racing to get back to. Was it worth the journey?
