Penobscot County Journal highlights the many recreational outdoor activities available in Maine’s spectacular Penobscot County throughout the year. These include paddling, hiking, ATV riding, snowmobiling, camping, cross-country skiing, fishing, snowshoeing, boating, wildlife viewing, and more. The film also examines the history and culture of this fascinating slice of New England and introduces the viewer to some of the unique people who live there and know it best.
The film’s cinematic style draws on the work of talented cinematographers AJ Derosa, Kevin Erdvig, Zach Hand, and Camden Spear. “Our team made numerous trips to Penobscot County over the last several years, filming different activities and seasons, yet always discovering new, exciting facets of this diverse area,” said Explore New England host and producer Tom Richardson. “It’s hard to believe we were able to fit it all into one hour!”
