2014 BMW 328i battery replacement, removal and install.
Repair is the same for 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 years 320i, 328i, 335i, 340i.
Customer’s concern – Car will not start, clicking sound is heard from engine when trying to start. Instrument cluster lights also flicker when trying to start. Customer used a jumper pack on battery and vehicle started up. Once started vehicle runs fine.
Negative cable is first to come off and last to go on.
After battery is replaced, it is necessary to register the new battery in the engine computer (DME).
Average battery life is 3-5 years.
