🌹『3つのヴァイオリンと通奏低音のためのカノンとジーグ ニ長調』(原題: Canon a 3 Violinis con Basso c. / Gigue) は、バロック時代のドイツの作曲家ヨハン・パッヘルベルの室内楽曲、作品番号 PWC 37。前半のカノンが特に有名で、パッヘルベルのカノンとして知られている。作曲時期や経緯は不明。現存する最も古い楽譜は19世紀の筆写譜である。
ヨハン・パッヘルベル（独: Johann Pachelbel1653年9月1日 - 1706年3月9日）は、バロック期のドイツの作曲家であり、南ドイツ・オルガン楽派の最盛期を支えたオルガン奏者で、教師でもある。宗教曲・非宗教曲を問わず多くの楽曲を制作、コラール前奏曲やフーガの発展に大きく貢献したところから、バロック中期における最も重要な作曲家の一人である


🌹そんな【カノン】ですが、注目されたのは近年になってからなんです。
初めて、カノンの演奏が注目されたのは何と1970年のこと。フランスのパイヤール管弦楽団が録音したLPをアメリカ・サンフランシスコのラジオ局が流したところ、リスナーより問い合わせが殺到。
その人気を受け、他レーベルからも出版が相次ぎ、250年ぶりに注目され、一躍人気曲の仲間入りを果たしました。

🌹そしてこの曲の人気の秘密はコードにあります🍀調性は明るく華やかな印象を持つニ長調🌹
通奏低音の伴奏楽器が【D - A - Bm - F#m - G - D - G(Em/G) - A】という伴奏を繰り返していて実はこの伴奏のコード進行が人気の秘密なんです。
ピアノでこの伴奏を弾いてみるとわかりますが、最初の1小節で(レ→ラ→シ→ファ＃)と音が下がっていき、次の1小節で(ソ→レ→ソ→ラ)と音が上行していきます。
最低音のファ＃がなんだか不安げな印象を与えますが、次の小節で徐々に明るい和音に変わっていき、それを曲の最後まで繰り返しています。
気持ちのいい和音→不安な印象の和音→それを解決する音階を繰り返し再現することで、曲全体が前に推進していく印象を与えているんです。
このコードは通常、【カノンコード】と呼ばれ、クラシック音楽のみならず、ポップスでも多用され、ヒット曲の多くはこの【カノンコード】を使用し、作曲されています。

🌹カノン (canon) とは、複数の声部が同じ旋律を異なる時点からそれぞれ開始して演奏する様式の曲を指す。ポリフォニーの一つの典型である。一般に輪唱と訳されるが、輪唱が全く同じ旋律を追唱するのに対し、カノンでは、異なる音で始まるものが含まれる。また、リズムが2倍になったり、上下もしくは左右（時間の前後）が逆になったような特殊なものをも含む。この有名な『パッヘルベルのカノン』（パッヘルベル）は、3つの声部が全く同じ旋律を追唱し（ただし同時に終わるために最後がカットされる声部がある）それに伴奏が付けられたものである。

🌹Canon for 3 Violins and Basso Continuo in D Major (original title: Canon a 3 Violinis con Basso c. / Gigue) is a chamber music piece by the Baroque German composer Johann Pachelbel. The first half of the canon, opus number PWC, is particularly famous and is known as Pachelbel's Canon. The time and circumstances of its composition are unknown. The oldest surviving score is a 19th century handwritten score.

Johann Pachelbel (German: Johann Pachelbel September 1, 1653 - March 9, 1706) was a German composer of the Baroque period, an organist who supported the heyday of the South German organ school, and a teacher.

🌹But it's only recently that the Canon has been attracting attention.
First of all, it was in 1970 that the performance of Canon attracted attention. When a radio station in San Francisco, USA, played an LP recorded by the French Orchestre Paillard, listeners flooded in with inquiries.

Due to its popularity, other labels started publishing it one after another, and it attracted attention for the first time in 250 years, and suddenly became a popular song.

🌹And the secret to the popularity of this song is the chords🍀The key is D major, which has a bright and gorgeous impression🌹
The basso continuo accompaniment repeats the accompaniment [D - A - Bm - F#m - G - D - G(Em/G) - A], and the chord progression of this accompaniment is actually the secret to its popularity.
If you play this accompaniment on the piano, you will understand that it stops in the first bar (Re → La → Si → Fa#), and progresses in the next bar (So → Re → So → La).

The lowest note, F#, gives a somewhat uneasy impression, but in the next measure it gradually changes to a brighter chord, and this is repeated until the end of the song.

The pleasant chord, followed by an uneasy chord, and then the scale that resolves it are repeated repeatedly, giving the impression that the whole song is moving forward.

This chord is usually called a canon chord, and is used extensively not only in classical music but also in pop music, and many hit songs are composed using this canon chord.

🌹Canon Generally translated as a round, but while a round sings the exact same melody, a canon can include songs that start with a different note. It also includes special songs where the up and down or left and right (front and back in time) are reversed.
