ゲゲゲ忌に行ってきました

11月30日は『ゲゲゲの鬼太郎』の漫画家水木しげるさんの命日「ゲゲゲ忌」なので東京都調布市に行ってきました。
水木しげるさんは1959年に神戸から引っ越して以来、50年以上調布に住み続けました。平成27（2015）年に亡くなり今も調布市に眠っています。
・調布市文化会館たづくり
水木しげるさんの祭壇が設けられ、数多くの花束が手向けられていました。

調布パルコもゲゲゲ忌仕様になっていました
・鬼太郎茶屋
深大寺境内の鬼太郎茶屋が老朽化の為、調布駅近くの天神通り商店街に移転ゲゲゲ忌の期間も多くの鬼太郎ファンで賑わっておりました
・布多天神社
社殿の裏が鬼太郎をはじめ妖怪たちの住むゲゲゲの森のモデルとされており、ゲゲゲ忌の期間だけ普段は入ることができない森に入ることができました。猫娘の御朱印紙をいただき、願いを書いた札をゲゲゲの森の妖怪ポストに投函しました。

ゲゲゲの鬼太郎6期で鬼太郎とねずみ男がラーメンを食べていた店。水木しげるさんも足繁く通っておりました。現在の建物になる前には水木しげるさんのアシスタントを務めていたつげ義春さんが住んでおり、屋根の上で昼寝していた最中に見た夢があの「ねじ式」の元になったそうです。
昭和の「うる星やつら」の「決死の亜空間アルバイト」はねじ式のパロディえした。

・覚證寺
水木しげるさんが眠っているお寺。水木さんのお墓は鬼太郎やねずみ男、妖怪たちのレリーフに守られていました。
・真光書店
水木サンがよく本を購入していたお店。ゲゲゲ忌ぬいとりコーナーが設置されていました。

【I went to the Gegege Memorial Service.】
November 30th is the anniversary of the passing of Shigeru Mizuki, the manga artist behind “GeGeGe no Kitaro,” known as “GeGeGe Memorial Day,” so I visited Chofu City in Tokyo.
Shigeru Mizuki lived in Chofu for over 50 years after moving there from Kobe in 1959. He passed away in 2015 and is still laid to rest in Chofu City.
・Chofu City Cultural Center Tadakuri
An altar for Shigeru Mizuki was set up, adorned with numerous bouquets.
・Chofu PARCO
Chofu PARCO was also decorated for Gegege Memorial Day.
・Kitaro Chaya
The Kitaro Chaya, originally located within the grounds of Jindaiji Temple, relocated to the Tenjin-dori Shopping Street near Chofu Station due to deterioration. It was bustling with many Kitaro fans during the Gegege Memorial Day period.
・Futa Tenjin Shrine
The area behind the shrine hall is said to be the model for Gegege no Mori (GeGeGe Forest), home to Kitaro and other yokai. During Gegege Memorial, visitors could enter this normally off-limits forest. I received a Nekomusume (Cat Girl) goshuin stamp and posted a wish-written talisman into the yokai postbox in Gegege no Mori.
・Shimoishihara Hachiman Shrine
The space beneath the shrine hall is said to be Nekomusume's dwelling place.
・Chinese Restaurant Hachiman
The restaurant where Kitaro and Nezumi Otoko ate ramen in the 6th season of Gegege no Kitaro. Shigeru Mizuki himself was a frequent visitor. Before the current building, Yoshiharu Tsuge, who worked as Mizuki's assistant, lived here. It's said that a dream he had while napping on the roof inspired the “Screw-Style” technique.
The “Desperate Subspace Part-Time Job” arc in the Showa-era Urusei Yatsura was a parody of the Screw-Style.
Moroboshi Ataru and the 6th season's Nezumi Otoko were voiced by Toshio Furukawa, a native of Tochigi City.
・Kakushōji Temple
The temple where Shigeru Mizuki rests. Mizuki's grave is guarded by reliefs of Kitaro, Nezumi Otoko, and other yokai.
・Shinko Bookstore
The shop where Mr. Mizuki often bought books. It featured a dedicated “Gegege Memorial” corner.
