Infinite Horizon is a large-scale digital landscape installation jointly created by Dimension Wanderer and the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, inspired by the cosmological imagination of A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains.
The work transforms the iconic blue-green landscape tradition into a multi-dimensional light-driven space, where physical terrain models and digital projections intertwine to form a living aesthetic experiment.
Structured in three stages — Eternity, Obsession, and Inheritance — the installation traces how ancient artistic ideals continue to unfold through contemporary media.
Mineral-like color fields, fractal mountain matrices, particle reflections, and brushstroke-inspired motion reinterpret the core spirit of Chinese landscape painting: the breath of light within form, the shifts between void and solid, and the pursuit of the infinite within the finite.
Viewers move around a glowing mountain-scape suspended in darkness, witnessing mountains dissolve, tangle, fracture, and reassemble.
In the folds of light, the dialogue between tradition and the future resumes — not as nostalgia, but as an ever-growing horizon of Chinese aesthetics.
