وہ جو کہتے تھے بچھڑیں گے نہ ہم کبھی
آج وہی راستے میں اجنبی بن کر گزرے ہیں
(The one who said we would never part,
Passed by today as if we were total strangers.)

Mohabbat ka nateejah duniya mein humne do hi dekhe,
Ya toh mil gayi kismat, ya mil gaye aansu.
محبت کا نتیجہ دنیا میں ہم نے دو ہی دیکھے
یا تو مل گئی قسمت، یا مل گئے آنسو
(I’ve seen only two outcomes of love in this world:
Either you find your destiny, or you find only tears.)

Toot gaya dil toh ab bawal kya karein,
Khud hi kiya tha pasand, ab sawal kya karein?
ٹوٹ گیا دل تو اب بوال کیا کریں
خود ہی کیا تھا پسند، اب سوال کیا کریں؟
