This video is part 1 of my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 scrambler build. In this video I am installing front LED turn signals. In order to make the bike a scrambler it will have to be completely modified. I really want the bike to have a custom look so I decided to use bar end turn signals but I mounted them in the same location as the stock indicators. I did not need any resistors or relays for them to work correctly. In my previous video I installed an LED headlight. The headlight modification and the turn signal upgrade is good for touring. I will do more touring modifications later in the build. I would like to start racing the bike so I’m going to do a few mods to improve performance. The bike is a new 2022 model Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. The color is called orange crush. This bike has amazing build quality and it’s a great foundation for a custom scrambler build. In my next video I’m going to do a handlebar change and I’ll show other upgrades as the project goes on. I’m going to install S&S high compression pistons, an S&S high performance camshaft, and S&S forged connecting rods. This should really improve the performance of my Interceptor 650. I decided to upgrade the suspension with the YSS front fork upgrade kit, and YSS coil-over shocks in the back. I am also installing a scrambler rear fender and a comfort seat. I will decide what I’m doing with the wheels and tires as the scrambler build progresses. I will eventually change the exhaust on the bike too.
