Not all heroes wear capes — some rescue animals, run sanctuaries, and care for the vulnerable and voiceless strays. Meet two of these heroes:
Ms. Jumalynne Doctolero of PIA-NCR, who champions the care of the cats of PIA, and Ms. Rina Ortiz, CEO and Co-Founder of Biyaya Animal Care, a lifelong rescuer since she was 5 years old, now a strong advocate for animal welfare, mass kapon, and anti-rabies campaigns.
