Die Fighting - Matt Mulholland - Live at Te Auaha

I used to find this song quite difficult to perform because of how close to my heart it was, but time often seems to make things easier if we let it. I wrote this maybe six or so years ago, so these days it feels more like singing it in solidarity with a younger version of myself, rather than expressing how I feel in the moment.

One of my favourite things about music is how it can help us to heal and understand. This song definitely helped me to heal, and I have to believe that it could maybe help someone else too. That's the ultimate goal of sharing and creativity in my eyes, anyway. We're all just out here, trying our best. Okay, cool. Keep on keeping on, my friends x
