Today we are going to go in-depth on the story of why the Dodge Demons were created, and also the engineering and some decisions as to why the engine turned out how it did and why some of the parts were used. The first part of the video looks at the idea behind the car, the goals of the SRT team, creating the name and logo, behind-the-scenes development info from brainstorming with a Challenger ADR in 2015 to the production version in 2018.
The second half of the video focuses on the development and engineering of the engine, where I’ll go through the major upgrades and components that the engineers wanted to include to improve the Demon and set it apart from a Hellcat. That will include the fuel, supercharger, air intake, heat soak, weight, driveline, launching, suspension, and transmission.
