You're RUINING Your Fragrances With THIS Mistake (pt. 2)

We're back with another critical analysis of another highly-discussed facet of fragrance-wearing: performance.

In a nutshell, performance is ultimately a subjective variable with fragrances. It can be controlled by the perfumer to some degree, but variability among experiences can NOT be avoided.

Because of this, I believe that judging a fragrance based on its performance is not always an accurate representation. Why? Because WE are the variable. We seldom consider ourselves when experiencing "poor" performance from a fragrance, and instead place all of the blame on the liquid in the pretty bottle.

It is beyond exhausting to see folks saying, "it's not good because it doesn't last", rather than "unfortunately it doesn't seem to last on ME, but I understand it could be different for others" (or something to that effect).
