Summer is here in our small island village in remote Japan!

We were invited down to a farm closeby where we kindly received many delicious watermelons.That kind of thing still happens regularly in these small rural communities.

We also decided to move the banana tree which is growing nicely after the previous one sadly didn't make it through the cold and harsh winter.Hopefully we'll have our own fruit someday!

Summer holidays means festivals in Japan so it was off to a local one for us,full of music,food,local traditions and lots of fun.
