To configure *Inter-VLAN routing* and *subinterfaces* on a Palo Alto firewall:
1. Create a subinterface on a physical interface (e.g., `ethernet1/1`) by adding a VLAN tag (e.g., `10` for VLAN 10).
2. Assign an IP address to each subinterface for routing between VLANs.
3. Enable *Virtual Router* and associate the subinterfaces to route traffic between VLANs.
4. Apply security policies to allow or restrict traffic between the subinterfaces/VLANs.
