Momma Turtle Lays Her Eggs In Our Front Yard! | Surprise Homeschool Lesson | Pros of Homeschooling

All we had to do was step outside of our front door for our Science lesson this morning! A momma turtle decided to lay her eggs in our front yard, and our kiddos had the privilege of witnessing this miracle of creation first hand. We then went inside and looked up different facts about turtles and their eggs. We learned how long it takes for them to hatch, what the eggs look like, and what the momma turtle does after she’s finished laying her eggs. I am so thankful for all the opportunities that my kiddos have to learn information in such a unique way because of homeschooling! ❤️
