Life on the other side of the railroad tracks, river, or bridge is often very different than living in the city center or downtown. In Kyiv, Ukraine we have a similar situation when crossing the bridge to the left bank. Geographically it's actually the right side of the map to add to the confusion, but universally it's known as the sleeping districts, or sometimes worse. Join me today as I check out the markets on the left, visit my mechanic shop to get an oil change, and meet with my friend Kate for lunch. This is life on the left bank of Kyiv.
