This was not as easy as it looks. But, come to find out that was my fault. I hate when install videos make it look like a piece of cake and then don't make that disclaimer. Off we go...
First of all. My little sister is ok. I mention in the video that I got the top case from after she was in an accident and her bike was totaled. It doesn't take much to total a motorcycle. She was a little roughed up but is doing fine and already has a new RT.
I already had the Shad SH48 top case and needed to install the hardware to install it on my 2022 BMW R1250RT. Of course, Shad didn't have an install video, which isn't surprising judging from the simplistic directions that came with the mounting hardware. Also, I ran into a snag and had to run to Lowes to get some nylon spacers since the ones Shad provided were too long. THEN...a few days later I realized that I had incorrectly drilled the holes and had to re-install the whole thing. Buckle up...it's a 35+ minute ride.
I'm not a YouTube pro or a monetized content creator so my audio isn't the best and you can here the radio playing in the background. I thought my Apple ear pods (whatever they're called) would work as a microphone while recording but I guess not. I tried to clean it up as best I could with Adobe but some parts still have very low audio. Feel free to fast forward if you start to get bored. Just be forewarned, you may miss out on a joke or two. The Shad parts are R1250RT (19-24) Top mount W0RT14ST and SHAD Large Plastic Baseplate w/ hardware (Ref. D1B59PAR+D1B40BOR).
Buckle up...it's a 30+ minute ride.
