In this talk, Dr Robert Haddad discusses the tests that are traditionally applied by the Catholic Church to discern authentic from false apparitions. Rather than simply dismissing all claims of apparitions as being "from the Devil" as some Protestants are prone to do, or quickly and gullibly believing all claims of apparitions without question as a number of pious Catholics tend to do, people of faith should instead hold a healthy scepticism and test the claims before coming to any firm or final judgement. In all cases, the faithful should submit their views to the Church and adhere to her final judgement.
