Persian Sea (دریای پارس) includes 2 parts (the south-western part-Persian Gulf) and the south-eastern part-Makran). The vast Makran Coastline in south-eastern Iran is directly connected to Indian Ocean via the Persian Sea. The gorgeous beaches of Makran with a 541-kilometer coastline has more than 700 recreational, tourist, ancient, historical and sight-seeing spots. Dolphins, including species like the Persian Sea and Indian Ocean humpback dolphin and Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin, inhabit the Persian Sea and Indian Ocean because they are warm-blooded mammals that thrive in both tropical and temperate waters, particularly in shallow, near-shore areas with freshwater input.
