5 Questions to ask immigration consultants before moving abroad | How to move abroad?

Today, I’m going to start a new Series called ' How to move abroad - A step by step guide'.

I've realized, when we talk about moving abroad, we talk about it in a very broad sense without realizing the nitty gritty that comes along with it. I want to get down to these nitty-gritties and walk you through every step.

In today's videos, I talk about Step 1 - Visiting your Immigration/Study abroad consultant and the questions that you should ask them.

So, without further adieu let's get into the video -

I want to start by talking about why it is important to meet with an immigration consultant. Now, this step is optional but, I recommend it.
I feel like, there's so much competition to move abroad plus you're restless once you make up your mind. Talking to a consultant is a good starting point - they can give you some expert guidance and help you secure a visa in a country of your choice. Application submitted through consultants usually foolproof, coz of their knowledge and experiences which increase your chances of receiving a positive response from immigration authorities.

Obviously, it is important to choose the right consultant and ask the right questions.
Here are 5 things you can find out about the consultant or ask them:
1. Check if they are registered -
Please check if they are authorized or registered with the government to provide immigration support.
2. Ask about their complete consultancy charges -
Ask them for the break up of the charges, so that there is no hidden cost. So, ask them how much they charge for consultation and application and how much will you have to pay for your VISA process.
3. What immigration services will you receive?
Whether they are only going to help with consultation & review or are they going to do the entire application for you.
4. What if your application is rejection -
I don't wish this on my worst enemy and I wish you all the luck with your application. Butttt, it is important to know if your consultant has the knowledge or registration to file a review for your file? Or if they can offer you with alternatives. Please stay away from the 'We will refund your money' types - That's so unprofessional.

And, last but not the least -
5. How long have they been in the industry & how many of their applicants have got the VISA
The track record of your immigration consultant is very important. It means that you can trust him!

So, if you're satisfied with the answers that your consultant gives you - they are the one for you.
Choosing the right consultant makes your immigration process so smooth and hassle-free.
