Our first day in Guangzhou 🇨🇳 started with one of the city’s most famous dim sum spots — Tao Tao Ju (陶陶居), and honestly… the food lived up to the hype. 🥢🔥
From the dim sum classics to the flavours, this place is a must-visit if you’re in Guangzhou.
After lunch, we explored the shopping streets and malls, soaking in the city vibes, before ending the day with a casual dinner at a local 串烧 (skewers) spot — simple food, great atmosphere, and a nice way to wind down.
One travel tip I strongly recommend:
👉 On your first day after arrival, don’t rush your schedule. Eat well, walk around, rest early, and let your body adjust — it makes the rest of the trip so much better.
