Welcome to Drum Dog's official overview of the UK Drum Show 2024! This year’s show was extra special for us, and we’re excited to share some incredible moments with you.

Not only did we explore some amazing gear on the show floor, like the Pearl Reference kit and the Mapex Black Panther Design Lab kit, but we also had the honour of spending the day with the legendary Bernard "Pretty" Purdie. We took Bernard around the show, where he made a surprise visit to the Sonor stand, sat down at a kit, and even stopped the show with an impromptu performance! Someone was so inspired by Bernard’s presence that they bought the drum kit he played on, just to capture the moment!

The highlight of the day came when Bernard was invited to the main stage and received the UK Drum Show Lifetime Achievement Award—a touching and emotional moment that left the crowd in awe.
