A Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 14NOV2025

This California Zephyr #5 arrived in Fort Morgan at 0544 MST (1 min. late in departure). Leading the 8-car train were P42s #199 & #83. A two-spot station stop was conducted. The first stop was with car 4 (sleeper) for 1 detraining patron who happened to be the Postmaster for the town. (new to me!) Then the train was moved ahead to bring car 7 (coach) to about the same area for 2 detraining parties. Then 4 new patrons boarded for the trip west. With the station work safely completed the high ball was given and on a clear signal at west Ft. Morgan CP, the Zephyr continued its westward journey with the next stop being Union Station in Denver.
My thanks, as always to the operating crew for the greetings today.
