Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer - Christmas Book Read Aloud - Quick Fun Vintage Holiday Storytime

This is a read aloud of a quick, fun Christmas story book: Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, based on the vintage holiday movie "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" from the 1960s. I remember watching this movie as a kid, but it wasn't until I read it to my own kids that I remembered the whole story. It's a little creepy, huh? This book certainly has vintage vibes, but I think the upfront honesty is what my children like most about it.

When Rudolph is born, Santa notices something just a little different about him... but that doesn't stop Rudolph from trying out for the Reindeer Games! As Rudolph grows up, he tries to disguise his shiny red nose in order to fit in, but he just gets made fun of by the other kids. Feeling like a misfit, he runs away and meets a friendly dentist-aspiring elf named Herbie. Rudolph and Herbie find themselves on the Island of Misfit Toys, and are given a mission to connect the other misfits with Santa, who would find them homes with loving boys and girls. Along the way, they run into trouble with the Abominable Snow Monster, who sure is hungry for some reindeer! Will Rudolph and Herbie be able to use their misfit skills to save the day and in turn, save Christmas? Read along with us and find out!
