In this video I have discussed Post-Study Open Work Visa (New Zealand) – Document Checklist.

If you’ve recently completed your studies in New Zealand, the Post-Study Open Work Visa allows you to stay and gain valuable work experience. Before you apply, it’s important to have all your documents ready to avoid delays and ensure a smooth application process. Here’s a complete list of what you’ll need:

1- Valid Passport –
Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended stay.

2- Recent Passport-size Photograph –
Must meet Immigration NZ’s photo standards.

3- Qualification Completion Letter –
Official letter from your NZ education provider - Grade report, Letter of Graduation, transcripts.

4- Proof of Funds –
Bank statement showing at least NZD $5,000 available, or sponsorship form (INZ 1025) with sponsor’s financial evidence.

5- Health Documents –
Medical or chest X-ray certificate (if not submitted in the last 36 months).

6- Police Clearance Certificate –
From your home country and any country you’ve lived in for 5+ years since age 17.

7- Application Form and Fee Receipt –
Submit online through Immigration NZ portal and pay $1670 PSW fee.

Having these documents prepared in advance makes your visa process faster and smoother. Double-check that all files are clear, in PDF or JPEG format, and uploaded correctly when submitting your application online through Immigration NZ.
