Residents of Ukraine’s southern port city of Odesa were forced to queue for drinking water after overnight Russian strikes caused widespread power outages and water shortages. More than a million households across the region were left without electricity after attacks hit Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
Footage shows civilians lining up at water tanks, filling bottles, and navigating damaged residential areas with shattered windows and roofs. Internally displaced people and elderly residents voiced anger and defiance, rejecting any concessions to Russia amid ongoing discussions around peace efforts.
