Hamas has freed the last 20 surviving Israeli hostages under a US-brokered ceasefire, marking a major step towards peace in Gaza.
Emotional reunions unfolded as videos showed families embracing their loved ones in Israeli hospitals after more than two years in captivity.
The hostages were handed to the Red Cross before being escorted back to Israel, where crowds cheered and waved flags at “Hostage Square” in Tel Aviv.
Israel has also begun releasing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners as part of the ceasefire agreement.
