Testing Historical Fencing Armory Sideswords

These two just made their way to us super fast and we couldn't wait to put them to good use. Seeing as Matteo got one for himself Rui figured he'd be a good opponent to try these one out on a first run.

Of course we'll save a little something for the video review once they've been under further testing but overall the first impression is very good indeed, well balanced and handles very nicely. The blade is a lot better than HFA's super flexible diamond section blades they use on their rapiers and overall construction is on par with the quality we've been accustomed to.
The steel on the hilt seems slightly less matte than the one being sold with the rapiers which is an interesting thing to see, but a much welcome change since the other matte finish is an absolute rust magnet.

That being said we'll let the fencing do the talking. And without wanting to take too much away from the swords in the video, we'd just like to add that it's so nice to see Matteo's fencing improve more and more with each session and get some nice clean hits on Rui.
