Slow Travel Thailand. We visited Chiang Mai University today, located right at the foot of Doi Suthep mountain. The campus is vast and incredibly green, filled with the vibrant energy of young students. We spent a peaceful time at Ang Kaew Reservoir, where the calm water beautifully reflects the surrounding mountains. It was such a refreshing escape from the city’s buzz, offering a quiet moment to soak in the natural beauty and the academic atmosphere.

Walking around the campus allowed us to see the harmonious blend of Thai architecture and lush nature. While there are sightseeing shuttles for visitors, we preferred exploring at our own pace. The serene environment and the sight of students relaxing by the lake gave us a deeper understanding of Chiang Mai’s cultural charm. This visit to the university was a highlight of our journey, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic spot in the city.
