Malahat Skywalk 2025! Fun For All Ages! Vancouver Island Tourist Attraction! Slide Into Some Fun!!

After buying annual passes, that were on sale in March for the price of a single visit, we make our first visit to the Malahat Skywalk. If you've already purchased your ticket, you can head straight for the scanning hut and get your adventure started! There's a lot of games, art pieces and accompanying information boards to help keep you entertained along the gently sloped boardwalk as you head for the main attraction! Once you arrive at the actual skywalk, you can choose to immediately head up, or head down to the food court area. There's still more fun and games at the lower section too! The walk up the skywalk itself is quite a gentle slope, and should be manageable by most. At the top you can walk out over a grid of cables and look directly down 10 stories, and/or enjoy the great views of two countries! The views are majestic, and the final trip around is filled with more art and information boards about the area! And of course, you've got to give the 173 foot (52.75 meter) spiral slide a whirl once or twice! Or 51 times if you want to beat the current record of 50! When it's all said and done, you can walk back out along the boardwalk the way you came in, or choose to take Luke's Lane which is a gravel path meandering through the forest, with some hunting for animal shaped cutouts along the way tossed in for added fun, that eventually leads back to the parking lot.
