11th Anniversary of the January 24 Peace Day

HWPL, in partnership with DepEd SDO Cavite Kawit Sub-Office, gathered 8,000 participants at the historic Aguinaldo Shrine to celebrate the 11th Anniversary of the January 24 Peace Day. The event featured a symbolic Peace Walk, the creation of a Thumbprint Flag, and various cultural performances. Students, teachers, parents, youth leaders, government officials, and Korean delegates consolidated their voices to support the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), a document advocating for international cooperation and conflict resolution.

As part of the celebration, an Oath-Taking Ceremony was held for 130 Peace Club Officers representing 13 schools. The event also highlighted the role of young voices in shaping the future, with the turn over of 11,565 Peace Letters addressed to the President.

Through education, youth leadership, and shared heritage, HWPL continues to inspire efforts toward a war-free world.
