Since the Automaton's Beta began, there have been a few questions I get almost daily on the FB group, Discord, and even sometimes from friends who play.
Can you make an automated cargo drone on the game now, easily, and with very little faffing about?
Yes you can. So sit back, grab a favourite snack and drink and join me as I put together a simple drone system that takes Ice from A to B automatically, without needing supervision at all. Now this can be further modified again by using Collision Mode, however, it does have pathfinding issues at the moment and could cause the drone to smash into things...
(You can turn off Collision Mode at Waypoint 0 though, and turn it back on via the Event Controller for example)
You could even modify this in Survival to detect low power, and go to recharge itself.
