This international community engagement initiative, under the PPM-KI (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Kolaborasi Internasional), presents EcoFerment with Yeast—a sustainable approach to managing agro-industrial waste while promoting food security and alternative protein production.
Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dalia Sukmawati, the program focuses on:
✅ Transforming agro-waste into high-value biomass using yeast fermentation
✅ Utilizing Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) as efficient bioconverters
✅ Producing frass-based organic fertilizer with antifungal properties
✅ Enhancing the role of science and collaboration in sustainable community development
This collaborative activity bridges research, education, and community impact across borders, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
