On June 24, 2022, Albuquerque Police were called to the Motel 6 at Central and Tramway for reports of a shooting. Christian Nieto was located with a gunshot wound, transported to the hospital and later died from his injuries.
A silver sedan is seen on surveillance video speaking to Christian before he's shot and then takes off from the scene.
