Dal mio soggiorno a Salinas, dove ho alloggiato con un’amica, parte la mia giornata alla volta di Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2025.
Nel video vi porto lungo il tragitto fino al celebre campo da golf di Pebble Beach, dove ogni anno la diciottesima buca si trasforma nel palcoscenico più prestigioso al mondo per le auto d’epoca.
Quest’anno l’affluenza è stata straordinaria: migliaia di appassionati hanno assistito al concorso, molti dei quali intenti a godersi il tradizionale picnic gourmet proprio di fronte alla pedana del Best of Show, in attesa della proclamazione.
Ripercorro insieme a voi i vincitori delle edizioni passate (2023 e 2024), per poi lasciare spazio alla grande domanda: quale vettura conquisterà il titolo nel 2025?
La risposta arriva con un’esplosione di emozione e coriandoli: la straordinaria Hispano-Suiza “Tulipwood”, con la sua inconfondibile livrea in listelli di mogano uniti da 8.500 rivetti, ha conquistato il Best of Show.
Oltre alla mia intervista al collezionista, nel video trovate anche uno scambio con un altro creator, che gli ha chiesto cosa significhi davvero vincere a Pebble Beach. Le sue parole sono state chiare:
“Per vincere il Best of Show a Pebble Beach non basta avere una macchina bellissima: serve una storia solida alle spalle. Deve essere completamente documentata, interamente originale e soprattutto una vettura che tutti – o la gran parte delle persone presenti – possano riconoscere. E infatti, se lo chiedi in giro qui, almeno la metà degli appassionati presenti conosce la Tulipwood Hispano-Suiza.”

From my stay in Salinas, where I was hosted with a friend, begins my day at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2025.
In this video, I take you along the journey to the legendary Pebble Beach Golf Links, where every year the 18th fairway transforms into the most prestigious stage in the world for historic cars.
This year’s turnout was extraordinary: thousands of enthusiasts attended the concours, many enjoying the traditional gourmet picnic right in front of the Best of Show ramp, waiting for the announcement.
I retrace with you the winners of the past editions (2023 and 2024), before raising the big question: which car will win the title in 2025?
The answer comes with an explosion of emotions and confetti: the extraordinary Hispano-Suiza “Tulipwood”, with its unmistakable mahogany strip bodywork held together by 8,500 rivets, was crowned Best of Show.
In addition to my interview with the collector, the video also includes another creator’s conversation with him, asking what it truly takes to win at Pebble Beach. His words were clear:
“To win Best of Show at Pebble Beach, having a beautiful car is not enough: it must have a strong history. It needs to be fully documented, entirely original, and above all, a car that everyone – or at least most of the people here – can recognize. And in fact, if you ask around, at least half of the enthusiasts present know the Tulipwood Hispano-Suiza.”
