Chukundi escapes from doing the household chores. On seeing this, Indumati gets angry and scolds him in front of all the villagers. Biji and Duniya try their level best to save Chukundi but this apparently does not go down too well with Mausi. Chukundi feels offended. But, nothing can stop him from checking out Dolly. Lapataganj season 2 aims at carrying forward this legacy and once again meaningfully entertaining the audiences. The satire in this show is aimed at us, at our society at our politics and our leaders through a fictionalized village called Lapataganj where the common man of India struggles everyday and yet manages to keep a smile on his face. The show will yet again portray the everyday ailments in the life of the common man – in a very common setup of a typical fictionalized Indian village- Lapataganj. The story proceeds with a leap of 5 years but much like the previous season, the people of Lapataganj struggle daily for basic facilities yet residing there happily.
